I know I have been neglecting this blog for virtually the past month, and it has really taken a back seat for all the other stuff that I have to do. I have to be ‘in-the-mood’ to write something, and most of the time I’m not. Over the past month, I had my 2nd week in theatres, a 2 day course on Paediatrics and then a week of interprofessional learning (not that I learned anything about other professionals).
I’ve also done a few shifts in that time also, and today was one of them. It was a 1st in the fact that I managed to get a cannula in on a patient who is not actually in theatres, which was good, and I wasn’t nervous when I was doing it either, which pleased the patient. I’m in tomorrow for a day shift, and then I have yet another week of IPL to look forward to. I hope that anyone who reads this blog, and has applied for Paramedic courses, does well on any interviews that they have!
