Well done!! Glad it all went ok, I’d like to think in three years from now I’ll hopefully be the in same position having passed my final paramedic exams too!! Have fun playing on your wii!!

I think I liked it just because it was so totally unrelated to Cadbury, thought it was a cool advert. That ASDA lady will probably never forget that! ha ha.

Sorry to be thick, but I don’t get the Cadbury one - that’s the latest advert for it isn’t it? I was expecting something different to happen, like a spoof advert or something. (maybe it is and I didn’t even notice!)

Ooh, how odd. I hate it when I can’t find what I’m looking for, it’s so irritating! But sometimes it’s just so bizarre how things vanish without a trace. I wonder if your goggles will be seen ever again (or my ear plug for that matter).

Hi there, I have dipped in and out of reading your post for some time now but it has been a while so I was interested to read the above post on you wishing any ‘wannabe’ paramedics good luck on interviews. Well, I can’t actually believe it but I have just been offered 1 of only 18 places at Greenwich Uni starting this September on the 3 year foundation degree course. I am ecstatic! At 35 years old, Mum of two and ex singer/dancer I have spent the last 10 years deciding on a new career path, then about 5 years ago I started working as a call handler/receptionist with our local out of hours GP service and have become more and more interested in the ambulance service. About two and half years ago I decided that I definitely wanted to work as a technician or paramedic and so started an access to health course at my local college to gain the necessary qualifications to enter uni (I am rather old and don’t have a-levels!) Well, now I can’t actually believe that I am nearing the end of the access course, have been interviewed and have been offered a place on the course - and now I am REALLY scared!!! Just having a little read up on a few of your posts about cannulating and delivering placentas, the penny is beginning to drop that I am actually going to be doing this stuff!!! It is beginning to freak me out! I have never wanted anything so much in my whole life and I feel really proud of myself to have gotten this far. I just want to do really well and not let anyone down including myself - so in a nut shell - do you have any tips please??????

Hi, I’ve been reading your blog for a while and find it really interesting, I’m hopefully going to uni in september to study Paramedic science. I’ve got interviews at all five of my choices but still no offers!! I hate the waiting! Anyway keep writing, don’t get bored of it!
PS. Congrats for your first cannula!!
